SANCora® TIMBER@Guard Polyurethane Wood Stain is specially formulated for enhance the natural beauty of wood and protects it against wood rot and mould growth by its penetrative properties. It is suitable for use on all types of new or previously treated interior hard and soft woods. It gives an extremely durable and flexible finish with excellent abrasion resistance and will not peal, crack or blister.

Recommended for use on cane or wooden furniture, door paneling, partition and parquet flooring.

Surface preparation (General / New)
Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease or wax. To have a better finish, rubbed down surface in the direction of the grain using suitable abrasive and dust off. If necessary, fill the wood grain with appropriate filler and smoothen with abrasive.

Surface preparation (Previously Painted)
Remove all loose, defective, unstable and existing paint film to bare wood. Rubbed down surface in direction of the grain. If necessary, apply wood grain filler to fill the crack and smoothen with abrasive. Seal the surfaces with SANCora® TIMBER@Guard Polyurethane Wood Stain. Thin down with 10 – 20% mineral spirit.

14m2 / litre depending on application method, nature of surface, film thickness etc.

Application Method and Thinning:
Roller, brush or spray. For thinning add 5-15% National G.P Thinner/National Q.D Thinner (depending on application method and the product).

Touch Dry (Minimum):
Synthetic Enamel Gloss 1 (6 hours)
